Traffic in San Francisco is a big problem. But your local transportation planners have developed new tools that are so innovative that the city has earned a spot as a finalist in the US Department of Transportation's Urban Partnership Agreement program (UPA).
The UPA will award over $1 billion in federal funds to support projects that reduce congestion and pollution by improving transit and transit options, in addition to better pricing and existing roads.
Please thank local officials and others for their hard work to make San Francisco a more livable city.
